°°°°°°°•••100 Years•••°°°°°°°==================== January 22 Another UpdateWell, I'm back from Miami. I had a great time. I stayed longer than planned. I ended up losing my driver's license and I didn't discover this until about 5:30am standing at the Delta check-in. So there was a lot of conversing back and forth between me and Delta/Priceline/Dad/SNB/Miami-Dade Police trying to get a copy of my license and get me onto another flight home. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise that I lost it though. I guess all flights out of Boston were cancelled for that day and the next day--so I would have been stuck in Boston for 2 or more days trying to get on another flight. I don't know about you, but I would much rather be stuck in Miami for a couple more days than in Boston during a snowstorm. hee hee. Did a lot of shopping, love the shopping down there. Stayed at a gorgeous place (Alie's mom's). Great view of the Ocean from her windows. The place had 2 outdoor pools (1 heated, 1 not), 3 hot tubs and a bar downstairs overlooking the ocean. The food at that bar was friggin awesome too.
So I came home in the wee hours of Friday morning. Wasn't feeling the greatest when I came home, I think it was just too much time sitting and moving and I didn't eat the whole day. But I was home at last :)

November 30 Life UpdateThis is for you Kris, my life update LOL
Well, I discovered yesterday that I am going to go to Miami in the New Year (Merry Christmas to me from Dad yay!) I haven't picked a date yet though. I want to go in mid-January, but Jamie wants me to go durring March break so that she can come with me. Jeff and Jon want to go too. Frankly, I don't care who comes with me, cause
 I'm going to Miami LOL My sister was supposed to come down in January, but Jon is being sent to Arizona before he goes to Afghanistan, so she isn't going to come and visit. I'm sad about that. But Miami will cheer me up LOL
Jeff, Alie and I went to New Hampshire last week. Alie was catching a flight to Miami (she is spending her winter down there...and I will join her for a week soon enough lol) and so Jeff and I drove her to Manchester so she could catch her flight from there (It was 200$ total for her and her 2 kids on Southwest to fly out of there...to fly out of Canada it would have been around 1500$). It was fun down there. Jeff and I got lost in Bangor on the way back, but that was fun too. I got to drive in Manchester, but I didn't want to drive any on the way back (Not quite ready for 4 lanes of traffic going the same way yet...and it was foggy as hell from Bangor to home and i didn't want to drive in that lol). And we had a PT Cruiser. I thought they were ugly before, but now I think I'm in love. There is so much friggin room in those and the shift stick is sooo cute!! And they drive very nicely. I had a good time, even with the 8-9 hour drives down and back.
I will not be flying out of Manchester, no friggin way. it was fun going down, but I don't want to do it again right now LOL
Jamie had her birthday party the weekend before Alie left. We had a blast. If you see a bunch of garbage bags in the picture, then ignore them. They are NOT garbage LOL They are clothes for the Salvation Army that we were going to take down. And the matress in the dining room is for Jamie cause she broke her leg and had trouble getting around, so she slept on that in the livingroom. LOL
 UPDATE December 7, 2006: The dates are set. I fly out on Thursday January 11, 2007
and I won't be back in Canada until Tuesday, January 16, 2007. WOHOO!
October 30 My Birthday PartyWell, my 26th birthday was on Saturday (Oct 28) and I had my party on Friday (just couldn't wait lol). It was amazing, as you can probably see in the pictures. I have an amazing bunch of friends who are all sneaky collaborators lol. Kris, you can see a pic of Jeffina in the photos from that night lol Jeff, Darrel and Greg dressed up as girls that night. Greg started the night off as Rambo lol but then changed. The first dress didn't fit him, so I got a bigger one. We all were passing the wigs around. The smiley face stickers were a nice touch to the evening lol. There were sooo many pictures from that night! Over 120 great pictures that I had to choose from to put on my blog. It was hard. We played mostly 90's music so we could feel like we're 13/14 again lol

The Savage Clan reunion was this weekend. Had a good time. Many people there...many people I didn't know. Andrew had fun. Over 1200 photos to go through, and more coming (everyone contributes there digi pics). I've wittled them down to around 800, dad will do the rest. Going to bed now.

 hee hee heeThe weekened went good. I did not go to TARA's on Friday, but Tavis did. On Saturday we sat around, they drank but I didn't. TARA called and said there was a ball game that night, but we didn't go. On Sunday we went to the right field at the wrong time, cause TARA said it was at 1pm. So then we went over to TARA's place and hung out for a bit. I went with TARA to the field at the right time, 2pm. TARA got burned on her chest because she forgot to put sunscreen there. Then we went to Mama's Pub after (and yes, TARA went too), and ate some food. I think TARA got the hamburger platter. I wanted perogies, but they didn't have any so I got Nacho's. Julie wasn't feeling so hot so TARA drove her home then came back to eat with us. Tim (TARA's husband) left early, so we offered TARA a drive home, but TARA just lived up the road a bit so she walked. I'd add a picture of TARA for all of you to see, but I don't have any. But I'll get a picture of TARA at the next ballgame this Sunday (that's if TARA tells us the right time) and then I'll post it.

June 04 Monster Truck show, shameless updateYa ya, this is a shameless update done only because I added some pictures to my blog LOL We went to the Monster Truck Show on Friday with Darrel, Jamie, Logan, Jamie, Terri and Tavis. It was pretty good. Andrew and Logan loved it. We got there around 6:30 and we were around the beginning of the line. Around 7 the lineup went clear the the AUC parking lot! I couldn't believe it! And we parked at the very end of the lot by the exit, so after the show we had no problem leaving the center hee hee hee. Tavis, Jamie & Terri showed up later, so we spent about a 1/2 hour saving their seats, which was interesting. We each had a seat between us waiting for them. I was thinking about going with Selena's crowd, but Jamie and Darrel were bringing Logan, so that was a friend that Andrew could sit and enjoy the show with.

May 04 Here is your UpdateUpdate.
There. I have updated my blog. Why aren't these things fun anymore? I used to like updating it and looking at my friends blogs. I just don't seem to have the time anymore I guess. February 27 I'm here I'm here!!I'm here, I'm still alive, I just don't have time to blog anymore lol. My weekend was not too bad. Went bowling on Friday (pictures in the 2006 folder), that was fun. I suck ass at bowling LOL.
Went to the market on Saturday, got me some somosas and some candle tarts (which I forgot at tavis's...ggggrrr). Then we went to Terri and Jamie's and then to Grammies.
The bowling pictures didn't turn out to great. Only 4 of them were decent enough to salvage. And weird enough, all the pics that didn't work out were the other half of the group LOL From the pictures you would think that Selena, Kristin, Tiffany and Ginny and I were the only ones there, but there was at least another 5 or 6 people that aren't in the pics LOL And I forgot my damn tarts at Tavis's.
Tavis got caught for speeding on the Royal Road on the way to Grams. But he only got a warning. And I forgot my tarts at Tavis's.
I'm home sick from work today. I really didn't want to stay home, but after walking Andrew to the busstop, I realized that there is just no way I'll make it through the day today, so I stayed home.
And I forgot those GD tarts at tavis's!!! oh, and there is Tavis replying to my email now. probably to tell me he doesn't know what in the hell I'm talking about and he doesn't know if I forgot them there or not LOL
1:08 AM update. I have more water problems. This apartment is so jinxed! For those of you who may not remember, I was flooded out almost exactly 1 year ago and had to move out for almost 2 months. Then I had more minor water problems a few months after that. And now I have this. My bathroom reminds me of those you find in two-bit trailers with pots and pans on the floor LOL LOL
NOTE: And Brigitte, I will never stop bugging you! And if I didn't visit your office at least twice a day, you would think I was ill or something...or just have a neat/clean whiteboard. February 06 Fred, Mr. Rat and FluffyWell, we went out on Sunday and got some mice for Tavis's terrarium (spelling?) They are really cute. I bought the black one and Andrew named him Mr. Rat. Tavis bought an albino white one, Inbred (but I call him Fred cause I don't want my son calling him that at school), and a gray one, Fluffy (guess which one I named lol). Mr. Rat is a cutie. She (yes, she is called Mr. Rat) will wait for another mouse to be running in the wheel and then she'll jump in and just hang on (she likes to spin upside down on it). At first the other mice were a bit put off by this but now they just run over her. And Inbred tries to get on her.
Inbred in on the wheel, Fluffy is inside one of the houses, and I don't know where Mr. Rat is. (and yes, that is a mirror on the back and you can see me taking the picture)

You know what I've noticed...That I've had this space for over a year now (since december 2004). Weird!!! January 24 one for the money....okay. So I think I've been banished from blog world. I never have time to do this anymore. Even Kristen has stopped coming around and harassing me lol. And I probably wouldnt be doing this if it wasn't for Lori's incessant messaging last night LOL
Went and played poker again on the weekend. I think I'm kinda getting the hang of it. Won 30$ on a cash game. Refused to play the tournament game cause there is no way I was going to just hand over 30$ to anyone. Not too bad of a night though.
I think I'm neglecting my kitty. Poor tig. I never have time to just sit and play with him.

Forgot to send Andrew's lunch to school with him today. Realised this when I got to work...with my son's lunch in tow.
January 04 holidays are overwell, the holidays are over and I'm finding the time to write another blog. I should really be cooking and cleaning the kitty litter (phew), but i'm not.
Christmas eve I went up to Alie and Jamies with my brother and we had a pot-luck stew (we didn't want to do Turkey, cause there is such think as Turkey overkill). Christmas day we opened gifts here, then went to my mom's, then to my dad's then to Tavis's that night. Boxing day went over to Tavis's Aunt's for dinner and a yankee swap, then off to his mom's then the long drive back home (not usually that long, but it was freezing rain and bad weather).
Tuesday was Boxing Day Sale shopping! Woohoo!!! Bought a few more shirts, some big plastic storage containers, and wrapping paper for next year. Wednsday went to Tavis's Aunt and Uncle's for poker. I played for the first time and won third place. yeehaw tee hee. Got my money back anyways. Don't remember much of Thursday and Friday, but I know I must have done something. New Year's Eve I wanted to stay in and sit by the fire, have a relaxing evening. But Teri and Jamie called a few times each and we finally caved in and went out with them. Ended up not being that bad of an evening. Entertaining it was. Recouped on Sunday and cleaned all day Monday.
There's my week in a nutshell. Back to work this week. Cindy's chocolate milk has been teasing me in the fridge for 2 days now so I went out and bought my own on my way home from work lol. December 19 okay okay...I knowI haven't done this in awhile. I just never have the time. I don't even have the time now. LOL Friday was nice, was at Tavis's with a few friends and sat by the fireplace.
Saturday was tavis's work party. That was awesome. Open bar. Need I say more. Yes, I do actually. Open bar, chairs from the lounge in the elevator, plants from the lounge in the hotel room, missing candlesticks, and some big fluffy white lays thingy around my neck and head (along with the Christmas wreaths). Band ended up partying in the room with us after hours, and Teri and I kept crashing some other party across the hall where there was 20 guys and only one other girl (you didn't read that Tavis LOL). No pictures, unfortunately. Don't think a camera would've made it through the night.
Sunday was the family Yankeeswap (see pictures above) and then the building Secret Santa after that. whew. what a mouthful. December 01 This is allllll for youThis is allll for you Kristin. You are such a dork! LOL Well, it's 7:30am and I should be getting ready for work. But I don't want to. So I will go to work looking like a rag doll. Oh well. Was suppose to get my first pay deposit from this place today, but I didnt. I don't know what happened, but I'll find out as soon as I get to work. I hope they didn't put it in the wrong bank account.
Well, I promise I will let you all know what happened. November 17 to busy to blog?Is there such thing? I didn't think so before now, but just maybe there is. I am too busy to blog this week. Jamie's birthday is this week (Happy big 29 Jamie
 ), Jacob's birthday is this week (happy big 2 jakee ) and I'm planning heather's going away get-together. I'm also getting used to the ways of the office and my new job, which is going great so far :) I have Emily picking Andrew up from his afterschool club cause I can't, and I just pay her 15$/week to do that, which is a huge load off of my back. Now I just need to figure out how to get him there in the morning on days when there is no school. Tavis should be here soon. And I still have to help andrew with his homework, call my grammy back, do my dishes dry my hair, and get lunches made for tomorrow. November 08 second dayWell, it is the second day of the new job. All is going well, I'm on break right now. There's a lot of construction going on right now cause the place is being rennovated and it was freezing this morning cause there was no heat all night. So some of us are still wearing our winter jackets at this moment lol Very relaxed environment and nice people though. I forgot to eat breakfast this morning, so I ended up eating my lunch. I'll have to run down to the store at lunch and pick something else up. This'll teach me to eat 3 square meals a day lol Well, off to eat half of my tomato sandwich.
Well, am I ever glad I got into the habit of copying what I wrote before I hit the 'publish entry' button. I just got a server error and when I hit my back button, everything I typed was gone. But HA, all I had to do was hit ctrl v and voila. lol
 Well what a flubbernut. I see that my original blog was posted 2 minutes after this one. You know, the one with the server error  November 03 Pepto Bismal Yayuuggh. i am soo sick today. I was talking to heather for a couple hours last night, and then as soon as we hung up BOOM, it hit me. I had to ask Jamie to drive Andrew to school today cause I knew there was no way I would make it to the bus stop with him without vomiting. I'm doing better now, I think it's going away. Of course, the Pepto Bismol that grammie brought me is probably helping too lol.
And this really sux. Tavis is suppose to come over tonight and now I have to tell him not too. And I haven't seen the moron all week and I probably will only see him for an hour tomorrow if he doesn't have anything better to do. I start the new job at the Safety Council on Monday. So I guess it's good now that i get sick and get it over with before that. Crossing my fingers that Andrew doesn't get it and miss my first day lol. I'll blame it all on you Heather. It was all down hill since your call  October 26 FlumpI am in a blogging flump. I don't know what I want to write. There is plenty that I could write about, but it's too boring. Tavis came over friday, I went to his place Saturday. I don't remember Monday. Yesterday was an interesting day. And today we drove to Bangor to drop Holly off at the airport. Got stopped at the border and had to wait 15 min while they searched the car yadda yadaa yadda. For the most part it was a relaxing and boring 7 hour drive.
This weekend not muched planned. I was thinking of getting a few people over Friday for my bday, but I'm just not in the mood. Lazy I guess. Tavis will probably come over, and if not I'll just go up to Alie's and play board games with some friends. Saturday Dad and Sherry are taking Andrew and I'll be going to Tavis's. He wants to go to Tara and Tim's halloween party that night, so I guess I'll go to that, but I'm not really in the mood. Maybe I'm just tired lol. Flump flump flumper October 18 weirdoSo, I get on my messenger today and I get this popup that says some Jon guy wants to add me to his messenger. I have no idea who this fella is. So I add him to find out. I ask him who he is and how he knows me. I asked him if this was Jon, Ambers Jon. He pretends it is, bullshits around and dances. So I add my sister to the conversation. We finally figure out, just by talking to him, that it's not Amber's Jon, who is currently posted in Virginia. So I add Alie, cause it's always funny when Alie gets in on a conversation lol.
Well, long story short, never found out who he is or how he got my email addy. My sister thinks it's from my space, but I don't have my email addy anywheres on here. She's talking to him right now, and she has come to the conclusion that he is from Carleton University because that's the server to his email addy.

October 16 It's Alive!My plant is still alive! I was about to give up and just give it to Cassie or Alie, and then I came up with one last plan. And, if I do say so myself, it's a brilliant one. I had some of these sticky bug traps left over from the summer, so I put them around the plant. My cat knows that he cannot touch these because they are not kitty fur friendly at all.
And because they are flat, you can't really see them unless you walk right up to the ledge. So, My plant has been saved!
HA! Take that Tigger! October 11 i just can't do it anymore lolI just can't have a plant. No matter where I put it, my cat will find a way to eat it. Even if it is behind closed doors in another room.

And to all who once knew my kitty...he's soon to be a dead kitty....just need to fish him from under the bed without him clawing me thinkin its a game October 05 I SPOKE TOO SOON...gggrWell, I came home today to a completely closed up plant. Which was very odd because it was still daytime. Upon further inspection I realized that some of the leaves were missing and others have little kitty teeth marks. GGGRR. I now have to find a cat to beat. Funny thing is, Tig knows he did wrong cause he didn't great me at the door like he always does. gggr
just close my eyes for 1 minuteWell, day 3 and my plant is still alive. Maybe not thriving, but he's alive! And my cat doesn't bother it, surprisingly. Each time that Andrew brought a plant home from school, Tig took at it like a kid in a candy store. I'm not sure how often or how much I should water it though. I wonder if I'm giving it too much or too little. But it's still alive!!
I am tired this morning. Andrew and I spent the evening at a friends, and he did his homework and watched Tv and played all night till almost 11 while the girls and I made cupcakes, confetti squares and maple curry chicken pasta (yum). We made so much pasta that when we finally mixed the chicken, pasta and veggies together we had to use a roaster (and it was still nearly overflowing). YUM. I frooze 3 small batches for later and ate a ton last night.
And did I mention, I am tired. Jamie came to the door last night at some time wanting to know if I wanted to play Donkey Kong with Ali LOL. I went to their door earlier when I came home cause Ali told me to, but they were busy so I went downstairs to eat pasta (yum) and go to bed.
October 02 i bought a sensitive little thingWell boys and girls, I bought myself a plant. Okay, you can pick those jaws up off the floor cause I'm serious. I really did. We were in Scott's Nursery just looking around, and Andrew saw this plant with the leaves that move. And I looked at it closely, and it was really really neat. If you touch the leaves lightly, blow on them, or when the sun goes down at night, they fold right up and droop down. It's really neat and kinda resembles a miniature fern.
Apparently the plant is also suppose to bloom some little flowers that look like pink prickly balls. I dunno if my plant will make it that far. I'm surprised it actually made it home in one piece. And bonus...it is not poisonous to kitties...which is good, cause I have a feeling my kitty will slowly munch at it when I'm not home.
